# Residency Certificate

You will need to have an EU certificate, that you will need to obtain in the City Hall from the place where you will reside in Portugal.

There are a few things you'll be asked for when registering yourself as a resident in Portugal: a taxpayer number (NIF), a Portuguese bank account, and an official address.
