Visa for non-EU citizens

As a non-EU citizen (outside of the EU/EEA/Switzerland), if you wish to visit Portugal for a longer period of time, you must obtain a visa prior to entry if you come from a country with a visa requirement for entering Portugal.

Visa application can be submitted by:

  • Applicant himself

  • For minors (only parents or legal guardians).

If you are not sure whether you require a visa to visit Portugal, please contact the Embassy. For most Baseflow users, it will be a D7 Visa.

The issue of national visas is discretionary and depends on the examination of each individual case, including the purpose of the visit.
